Principal Mrs. Thérèse Schwarz,originally from Toronto, Canada, is in her sixth year as principal of OLH. She has 20 years of experience in teaching and administration. Mrs. Schwarz received her M.A. in Educational Administration from Schreiner University and her B.S. in Education from Texas State University. schwarz@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Mary Beth Bauer, a full-time faculty member, is in her fourth year at OLH after 28 years of teaching in the public schools. Mrs. Bauer holds a B.S. in Range Science from Texas A&M and is teaching Chemistry, Chemistry Pre-AP, Biology AP, Environmental Systems and Environmental Science AP. Additionally, Mrs. Bauer coaches Science for academic competition and sponsors the National Honor Society. bauer@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Sharon Bigott is in her fifth year with OLH after teaching for 30 years in the public schools. A part-time faculty member, Mrs. Bigott teaches two sections of Business Information Management. Mrs. Bigott holds a B.B.A. in Business from Angelo State University and an A.A. from Schreiner College. bigott@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mr. Dale Bode , a part-time faculty member and coach, has 33 years of experience. Mr. Bode teaches Physics and Physics Pre-AP and is the head baseball coach. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Bode earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Agriculture degree. bode@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Teresa Booth joined the OLH faculty after teaching for 13 years in the public schools. She teaches Algebra I, Algebra I Pre-AP, Geometry, Geometry Pre-AP, Algebra II, and Precalculus. Mrs. Booth is in her fifth year at OLH and holds a B.S. from the University of Wyoming in Math Education. A full-time member of the faculty, Mrs. Booth coaches Mathematics for TAPPS competition. booth@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Ms. Ann Branton is in her fourth year at OLH as our full time librarian with over 25 years of experience. Ms. Branton came to us from The University of Southern Mississippi Library and provides library services in addition to assisting students with their research papers and college application essays, and writing grants for the Development Office. Ms. Branton also provides technical support for the OLH yearbook. She holds a masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas and a B.A. from Our Lady of the Lake University in Liberal Studies. branton@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Ms. Maureen Driscoll teaches 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Theology and serves as one of the Campus Ministers. Ms. Driscoll holds a B.A. in Education, a B.A. in Special Education with a Learning Disabilities Specialist endorsement both from Central Washington University, and has recently earned a Level III Theology certification, which is equivalent to a B.A.  Ms. Driscoll has 29 years of teaching experience and she is a full-time faculty member. Ms. Driscoll is in her eighth year at OLH and coaches TAPPS Spelling. driscoll@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Lyn Gold is in her third year at OLH with 34 years of experience as a secondary art instructor in the public school system. In addition to being a part-time faculty member, Mrs. Gold is a practicing artist and holds a B.F.A. in Art Instruction from Sam Houston State University and a certificate from Regal School of Commercial Art in Houston. In addition to teaching Art, Mrs. Gold sponsors the TAPPS art competition events. gold@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Jeannie Hilsabeck is Director of Academics for OLH and teaches Algebra 2 Pre-AP, Precalculus Pre-AP, AP Statistics and AP Calculus. A member of the original faculty of OLH, Mrs. Hilsabeck has 28 years of experience. She holds a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education, a M.A. in Educational Leadership and a M.S. in Mathematics, both from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas. Mrs. Hilsabeck, a full-time member of the faculty, is the TAPPS Academics and Fine Arts Director and coaches Advanced Math, Calculator, and Number Sense.  hilsabeck@ourladyofthehills.org


Mrs. Sterline Marcum teaches English I, English III, English III AP, and Theater. She sponsors the One-Act Play, Solo and Duet Acting, and Poetry Interpretation for TAPPS competitions. A full-time member of the faculty in her seventh year at OLH, Mrs. Marcum earned a B.S. in Education from Baylor University and has taught for 35 years. marcum@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Susie McCalla, Director of Admissions, is in her fourth year at OLH after 19 years of teaching and counseling in the public schools and is retired from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. A full time member of the faculty, Mrs. McCalla teaches AP Psychology, Choir, Government and sponsors TAPPS Music and Prose Interpretation competition as well as the Key Club. She holds a M.A. in English from the University of Hawaii, a M.A. in Psychology, Guidance, and Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and a B.A. in History from the University of Texas. mccalla@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Paula Morris, Director of Student Activities and the OLH Student Council sponsor, teaches Spanish I, II, and III and English IV. She also sponsors TAPPS Spanish and Literary Criticism competition. A full-time member of the faculty, Mrs. Morris earned a B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish from Southwest Texas State University and she has 32 years of experience. morris@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Sue Murphy, the OLH counselor, has 45 years of experience in education and holds a M.Ed. in Guidance with a Specialization in Secondary Psychology from Prairie View A&M University as well as a B.A. in Teaching from Sam Houston University. murphy@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mrs. Bobbie Murray, a 35-year educator, teaches English II, English IV AP, Theology 4, Yearbook, and Debate. She also sponsors Ready Writing, Persuasive Speaking, and Original Oratory for TAPPS competition. A full-time member of the faculty, Mrs. Murray is in her 9th year at OLH.  She has an M.A. in Education with Administration certification from Schreiner College, 34 graduate hours in law and philosophy from the University of Texas, and both an M.A. and a B.A. in English, Speech, and Theater Education from Northwestern State University. murray@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mr. Chris Ramirez, a full-time faculty member and coach, is our Athletic Director in his fifth year at OLH. He teaches Economics and U.S. History and he coaches football and boys’ basketball. Mr. Ramirez holds a B.S. in Human Services from Springfield College and an A.A.B. from Southwest Texas State University. ramirez@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mr. Ron Sprott, a part-time faculty member, is in his 7th year with OLH. Mr. Sprott teaches Biology and holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas. Mr. Sprott has 17 year of teaching experience earned after he retired from the U.S. Army.  sprott@ourladyofthehills.org

 

Mr. Thomas Woods, a full-time faculty member, is in his second year at OLH and is currently teaching World Geography, World History and Dual Credit U.S. History through Schreiner University. Mr. Woods holds a B.A. in History from Schreiner University and a M.Ed. in History from Texas State University.
