Our Mission and Vision

Mission Statement

Our Lady of the Hills (OLH) is a regional co-educational Catholic high school, committed to providing a quality college preparatory education to students from all social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds within a caring, diverse Christian community which values the potential and dignity of every student. Central to this purpose is our belief that every child is a child of God and each student deserves the right to seek truth in Jesus Christ for the greater glory of God.

Vision Statement

Our Lady of the Hills is committed to providing an excellent, value-based academic education for the children of the Texas Hill Country. OLH will encourage students from diverse backgrounds and resources to reach their full intellectual and spiritual potential within a Catholic community that joins Christian living with academic goals.

We hold the belief that we are created to know, love, and serve God. We work to instill in each student the knowledge of moral values so that their behavior may reflect a respect for the dignity of all God's creation.

As a college preparatory school, OLH provides an educational environment that addresses the development of the whole person. The curriculum addresses a broad range of content areas across disciplines relevant to the educational and personal development of each student. An OLH student is expected to work toward rigorous standards, acheive broad human knowledge, seek deep personal understanding and appreciation, and develop capacities to discover, think, and create.

OLH is committed to empowering its students with tools for leadership. Our goal is to graduate students who will be confident and successful at the next level of education. It is our sincere hope that these students, upon becoming adults, will be responsible citizens and future leaders of their communities, placing love of God and family above all else.

School Mottos

Our two school mottos hail from the two Catholic religious orders whose educational philosophies and examples inspired the founding of Our Lady of the Hills Regional Catholic High School. Although OLH is not formally affiliated with either order, both congregations represent traditions of educational excellence, deep Chrsitian faith, and moral integrity for which we strive.
